DEVELOPMENT TEAM - The Bavarian Lodge & Restaurant

The Bavarian Lodge is located about 30 minutes above the ancient, multicultural town of Taos and is co-owned and operated by the husband and wife team of Thomas and Jamie Schulze.

The Bavarian's magnificent log mansion is fashioned after the high Alpine guest houses, or Ski Alms, with an authentic Old-World character that complements Taos Ski Valley's magical, European style. The new Bavarian Chalets also evoke the Bavarian's alpine style, appointed with a contemporary touch by acclaimed hospitality designer, Alexandra Champalimaud. The Bavarian Chalets were recently honored by Interior Design Magazine as one of the four finalists for 2009's Best New Boutique Hotel in the World.

Thomas Schulze comments on the expansion of The Bavarian Lodge & Chalets: "We have begun to attract to Kachina Village a small community of like minded souls who love the mountains and treasure unspoiled wilderness.
