CHAMPALIMAUD provides Interior Design services to Hospitality, Residential and Commercial clients around the world. Based in New York City, CHAMPALIMAUD is led by President & Principal Designer Alexandra Champalimaud. At CHAMPALIMAUD each project is assessed from multiple vantage points. We consider it essential to develop a knowledge base which includes the history of a project, its locale and cultural value. As a result, we have produced a broad range of designs, from adaptive reuse renovations of historic landmarks to contemporary renovations and new constructions. Founded over 25 years ago, CHAMPALIMAUD's current projects include The Carlyle Hotel (New York), The Dorchester (London), The Boulders Resort (Arizona), The Boca Raton Resort & Club (Florida), The St. Regis Hotel (Beijing) and The Four Seasons Toronto (Canada).

Alexandra and family are part time residents of Taos Ski Valley and are longtime patrons of The Bavarian Lodge & Restaurant.
